2023: A YEAR IN REVIEW + 2024 BLOG UPDATES
“You are allowed to change your mind.” It’s one of my most loved phrases. It gives me permission to push the boundaries of my comfort zone as a multidimensional woman who’s exploring different expressions of my purpose. But what happens when you change your mind about who God called you to be? That’s when you realise you can change your mind, but God won’t change His mind about you.
I feel a restlessness in my spirit, a desire to return to simpler times, to find joy in scribbling in note pads and putting up blog posts with heartfelt stories. I think to myself, “I thought restoration means having more, so why am I craving less?” I didn’t know restoration involves returning, but sometimes you have to go back to where you started so that you can ask yourself this question: “Where do I want to go?” I believe I’ve found the answer to that question for this year.
Hello again, I know I disappeared… again. I’m here now. I’m not sure what’s next (when am I ever?), but I wanted to end this year by writing this blog post as a commitment to myself and HER. I will tell stories for HER and about HER in 2024 with authenticity and audacity.
