ABOUT JESSICA  

Jessica Ireju is a  digital storyteller, dynamic writer, media and communications professional. She is passionate about  telling authentic stories and building impactful programs for nonprofits, social enterprises and women-focused organisations.
 
Jessica utilises her skills in communications, research, and digital media as a freelance journalist and writer; serving as a contributing researcher reporting on sustainability trends in Africa; managing communications and programs for social impact driven and not-for-profit organisations, while sparking conversations, and creating communities on social media.

Jessica has channelled this passion in the past to writing personal stories, from non-fiction essays, social media posts to books, including contributing to one of Africa’s foremost digital media websites.

More recently, her focus has shifted towards sharing the stories of others, especially amplifying experiences of women through interviews at HER Green Room, a home for the modern woman and unfiltered conversations on podcasts.

From art to media, publishing and NGOs, she consistently creates content that educate, inspire, nurture and amplify voices, people and initiatives.

When Jessica is not telling stories, she is probably watching YouTube videos or journaling.

Jessica welcomes opportunities to tell new stories, produce compelling content, launch digital platforms, or amplify an organisation’s impact and is always open to meaningful collaborations
